FOLLOW-UP: SpotON3D Mesh Open Discussion - June 3, 2012

We wish to thank each and every person who attended our first Mesh Open Discussion held on Sunday, June 3.  We are committed to making mesh the best that it can be within the SpotON3D platform, and we sincerely appreciate your willingness to help out in this endeavor.  With this level of community support, the project is certain to thrive.

We would love to hear any additional feedback you may have on what you believe would be the best way to implement mesh, or any concerns that you still have about it.  For this purpose, we have set up a Google document that all participants may use to leave comments.  Please click on SpotON3D Mesh Discussion Notes to open the document.  This has been set up as a private document, so if you have not yet been granted access, please respond to the message that comes up and also send an email to contact@spoton3d.com requesting access.

A recording of Sunday's conference is also available for viewing on livestream.com by clicking this link.

Thank you all once again for attending the conference.  We look forward to your continued guidance in the future as we move forward with the implementation of mesh in SpotON3D.

What an amazing background in music!
Grif has spent 20 odd years in music, dating to the mid-70s when he worked as part of the Deep Purple sound crew through a major sound company, and with many other top bands -- Kiss, Poison, Warrant, Cinderella and especially Blue Oyster Cult. He has a long history with BOC, working as their system engineer in the arena days and then taking over as sound engineer in 1983.

From 1992 to 1994, he ran the sound department at the Sun City, South Africa resort. That gig included juggling work at the 15,000-seat arena, 3 theaters, 2 ballrooms and 40-odd conference halls, plus working with African and international acts as well as providing the audio for the inauguration of Nelson Mandela. Grif returned to the U.S. in 1994, and resumed working with BOC.
